Prayer Request for Virginia Castillo, 2016

    • 10-4-2016

    Dear Sisters and Brothers,

I have received a prayer request from Virginia Castillo, Pastoral Ministry Assistant at the Cayman Islands Baptist Church where Rev. Randy is the Senior Pastor. According to Virginia: "On Monday morning my doctor referred me to go overseas for surgery and chemo for uterine cancer and lesions (not tumours) on a lung and liver which showed up on a recent CT scan.  I am trusting God for His healing according to His will for my life, and I would appreciate your prayer support to that end."

Virginia left on the evening October 3, for Miami with her daughter Yasmini Prendergast, and her sister Wanda Tatum to fulfill an appointment Tuesday, October 4 with Dr. Troy Gatcliffe, the gynecologic oncologist at Baptist Health International.

In her final request, she asked that we pray for God to extend His amazing grace, courage, and strength, especially to her daughters, Yasmini, Tisha and Rosandi, grandchildren and sons-in-law during the uncertain days ahead.

Virginia wants us to feel free to share our requests to as many persons as possible. Let us lift up our sister and family in prayers.

    Regards,
    Rev. Everton Jackson
