    CBF Sunday President's Message - June 26th, 2022

    CBF Sunday - June 26th 2022

    PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

    Isaiah 41:13

God remains an unfailing security whatever the time and circumstances.

We are not makers of history. We are made by history (Dr. M.L.K Jr).  It is true that life has showed us in many ways the weaknesses of men and with the possibility to adapt himself in any circumstances.

I know that you all are aware that without God’s help, it would not have been possible to reach thus far. You have been faithful in carrying CBF such a long way, may God bless you, and his rewards will not fail. The vision for the Caribbean Baptist is to bring the different regions together, with their backgrounds, languages, cultures; to be one big family carrying the cross and spreading the gospel, equipping leaders to serve where ever they will be called.

Every year, we keep focus on the objectives that we have made to carry the vision. This Sunday CBF remains an opportunity for its members to emphasize Caribbean-Wide fellowship in their worship services.

During this day in our different regions we can focus again on our reason for existing and the common vision that we have, which is to live communion in the same Spirit.  It is also important for me to use this letter to thank those who have worked on the BWA/CBF School of Evangelism. Thank you to all our speakers as well as to the BWA.

I encourage You my beloved ones, to pray for :

    • The work and ministry of CCP as well as the Men’s, Women’s and Youth’s Departments
    • The Caribbean Baptist Fellowship Executive Meeting and Baptist Gathering in Dominica, October 17-21, 2022
    • Our Executive Secretary/Treasurer, Rev. Anselm Warrick.
    • The BWA Annual Gathering in Birmingham Alabama July 10-15, 2022.

I encourage the churches to continue in their mission and to be witnesses of Christ.

As we observe this CBF Sunday, I urge you to receive a special offering in favor of this beautiful work that is the CBF.

We still need your support in many ways (prayers, finances and your presence at the next CBF meeting in Dominica.  We are called to impact lives as we serve the Caribbean through our God-given ministries, gifts and talents.

    CONCLUSION:

On behalf of the Executive, I wish you a wonderful service. As we continue to fight the good fight in our different regions, and let’s keep in mind our beautiful family, the CBF.

I thank you for your trust.

    President CBF

    Rev. DOMINIQUE DICK
